Barbara Weider House: Supporting the strength and courage of homeless youth!
Housing and Services for Homeless Youth
Opening May 2017
Barbara Weider House offers a place of safety and hope for homeless youth. It's services address the needs of youth in crisis and provides the support to help them master the tasks of adolescence as well as focus on their education and employment possibilities.
Barbara Weider House will be managed by Home Horizon, a not for profit charity providing transitional housing to homeless women, children and youth. The house will offer housing and services to homeless youth and will be in addition to Home Horizons's existing services and housing locations. In order to operate, Barbara Weider House needs the help of the community! Home Horizon is now raising $850,000 to operate the house. The doors will open in early May and fundraising is going well with 42% of the funds donated or pledged as of March 2017. However, to fully fund the project, Home Horizon needs the help of the community. Click the button below to donate, or go to the Fund Raisers tab to learn more.
